I agree that wireless is the way to go: the Logitech Wireless controller for
PS2 is great as is the Wavebird.


Once you have toddlers and wire-chewing cats you'll appreciate the extra
money spent on them.  ;^)

My thoughts as well...

We went to the store and looked at the various games offered
by both the PS2, XBox, and GameCube.  Each have games that
would be enjoyable to play but found that the GameCube
offered us more enjoyment. Now we have had it for about a year
and have about 10-15 games.

a lot of multiplayer games... Also the WaveBird is an excellent
purchase.. Wireless baby!!

1. Go to the store with your GF.
2. Look at all the cames, irregardless of platform.
3. Buy the game you want to play.
4. Pick up a box to play it on at the same time.

We can argue price, performance, breadth of titles, etc. But
ultimately
whichever you buy now will be the wrong one later. So buy the one that
matches the game you want to play now.
