My 2P

The reasons given to attack Iraq apply to Korea, Pakistan etc.   I would
challenge someone (and have before) to provide a VALID reason why Iraq were
single out.

Bringing infrastructure/modernisation to Iraq is noble.   However is it not
noble in the slighetst when you have just blown up have the country which
you are then trying to modernise.  This is especially true when you are
financially gaining more that modernisation and even more so when you
vetting the countries which can bid for the contracts, it smacks of cronyism
and arrogance.

The only good thing is that it upsets the French, i'm always up for
upsetting the french.

I honestly believe in that fact that we need to protect the rights of the
worst to protect the rights of the greater population.  Yes, that means
sometimes someone who should be punished/incarcerated is let off on a
technicality, etc.  But otherwise you start going down the slippery slope,
and you won't think the degradation of your constitutional rights is so
funny when it happens to apply to you.

due process is being ignored, as well as the principle of innocent before
  proven guilty.
