No problem-- keep it as long as you like. You know us-- what's ours is
yours.
When we made the tough decision together some years ago that Lisa would quit
her Systems Analyst job to come home and home school the children, run the
household, and run the financials of our company, we were looking for ways
to make sure we could do everything reliably on a single income from this
all-too-volatile consulting industry. Tightwad Gazette has some really
useful ideas, though you're quite right: not every idea in the book is right
for everyone. I sometimes use the frugality gained in one area to
occasionally splurge in another (like the imported Sicilian salt-packed
whole anchovies I got last week... okay, I'm weak), but most of the time
it's all just for frugality's sake.
Now if only someone would publish a book that shows how to reduce annual
software maintenance fees... :)
