The looks thing? That was just joking. Of course all babies are
adorable. Don't we all ooo and ahhh over countless pictures of them
here?
But you've got to admit, they look pretty puckered up and weird
sometimes. Jim's offense was good natured, he knew we were kidding. Did
you?
Of course your baby is the cutest thing since sliced bread ... and our
dogs are the most adorable beasts we've ever laid eyes on. But not
everyone likes Greyhounds.
Now as far as this comment:

Unless you care to maybe re-phrase or say you didn't mean what I think
you are implying here ...
I take this as: Because Phil and I have decided we can't handle the
responsibility and do not want to have kids that our genes are
defective. We would probably make a couple of the best parents because
we've both had bad childhoods and know what it's like to not be loved by
someone. We are both smart and know how to take care of ourselves. We
have decent morals and values. We've just decided to NOT have kids.
Simple as. Does that make us any less a person??? OR defective?

Life is not a pretty thing and right after birth neither are babies.
Naturally born children typically have a cone head for the first few
days of
their lives (hence the reason many babies wear those nice knitted
bonnets).
