So what you're saying is that you ruined her Christmas because you wanted to
so something as basic as SIT while you were EATING?

How *DARE* you?!?
... Sorry, can't keep the sarcasm up any more than that.  My mom is one of 6
children (the second oldest of 5 girls) and I got to watch the insanity that
ensued from that.  All I can say is that there is nothing you can honestly
say or do to justify her schism.

Actually, kinda reminds me of a bit of motherly advice I got from my mom.
She told me that when people started going off on me for something
inconsequential to look them straight in the eye and with a deadpan and
heartfelt tone say something along the lines of:
"I see that I have done or said something in the past to offend you.  I hope
you can find it in your heart to forgive me."

Then walk away laughing.
