But seriously, the best thing you can do for this guy is to let him know when he is being a jerk^h^h^h^h less than stellar employee.

It took me until about the age of 24 to get the idea that professionalism was of the utmost importance.

And it was a more senior programmer who showed me the light, both by example and by "suggestions".

I can't imagine how much code I would have destroyed in the 12 years since then if I hadn't been corrected.

Regardless of the outcome, enjoy the holidays and be glad you've outgrown such behavior.
