Hi All,

Two things. First, in spite of serious system failure earlier today
(from which I'm still recovering), I just published a new onTap
framework project. Specifically a Plugin Manager which hopefully will
enhance other projects to come in the future. more information about
this can be found on my blog at:

(I need to shorten those links)

Secondly, the onTap framework needs a forum and/or a mailing list, so
I'd like to get some opinions from the community about how they feel
about these things? Personally I find email a lot easier to deal with
than forums, it's definately faster per word than any web forum I've
used, and the interface for writing email in my experience is usually
a lot nicer (since I rarely need to use webmail clients). So I'm
thinking it ought to be a mailing list (at least for now) and
preferably one that gets archived somewhere on the web so people can
see the threads without needing to subscribe and/or navigate the
listserv commands to get what they need. I noticed that there's a
fusebox list on the houseoffusion site, but as I also noticed that the
Fusebox Co-Op has a more specific purpose (read their site, it's a
good idea, I hope it works) I decided not to ask Mike about managing a
list for the onTap community. My second thought was Yahoo, but I have
some reservations about using Yahoo primarily because I've seen a lot
of Yahoo mailing lists for various projects that just go nowhere, so I
wonder if people have a general dislike of Yahoo groups or if it's
just my overactive imagination.

Thanks,
