a couple of drunks started harassing them and one of the folks in my
friend's group had had enough and tried to "encourage" the drunk to move
along. Of course, this only encouraged the drunk to take a swing at another
one of them, breaking his glasses, which prompted my friend to jump on him.
Some sort of hair pulling/necklace pulling standoff ensued until someone
threatened to call the cops.
Transition to 5 minutes after it's all broken up... the drunks come flying
down the street in a car, chasing 3 of the 5 friends who are just pulling
out in their car. Said drunks nearly hit a tree whipping a U-ie up on the
curb, follow them for a few blocks, and crash their car. Cops are called,
but no one knows what became of said drunks.
*sigh*
I was at home in bed, and husband was doing a top-to-bottom living room
cleaning job. We're old and boring but at least we're not getting assaulted.
;)
