editing process and that the best version of the story can only be had
in print recently. I personally have a tough time with Heinlein in
general. My ex read bits of Stranger to me and I didn't care for them,
and I'fe tried reading a couple of his books on my own and never seem
to be able to get past the style, I dunno, just bugs me. Although I've
been told I ought to try some of his earlier stuff like the Moon is a
Harsh Mistress... maybe some day when I can find some free time. :)
You know I don't think I've read a novel in a couple years now --
since about when my ex and I split up -- I've been so busy trying to
reorganize my life in such a fashion that I can deal with the divorce
(which still hasn't been finalized), and so that's mostly meant
noze-down in my work with little or no time for anything else.
