Remember, I am in Albuquerque. I probably won't fly. I might on the other hand take a bus to El Paso and walk across. I am told the Mexican traines/buses are cheaper.

Anyway, yeah... that was about what I had heard and meant by gotchas. That and that gas might be expensive and car repairs difficult at best. And there is a deposit if you take a car more than 26 kilometers from the border?

possibly driving is not in fact the way to go. Anyone else have any input?
