all places it was relatively inexpensive to hire a car and driver. You would
get hassled much less because the driver and car were local. You had a built
in tourist guide/interesting person to chat with, and you could get off the
beaten track if you wanted to.
If you can find an arrangement like that, I'd recommend it.
