splitter, and started to watch a movie.
After a few minutes, the stewardess came over and asked them to turn it
down. Thinking he had misheard her, he removed his headphones. That's
when he discovered that the splitter wasn't plugged quite all the way
in, and in addition to playing over the 'phones, it was rattling through
the built-in speakers.
Needless to say, they made sure it was plugged in after that.
