What year where you in the 82nd? After I completed Airborne and AA I was in
the 82nd for about 6 months until I started EOD training in Aberdeen. After
getting EOD certified (took about a year of training) I went to the 3D Ord
Bn in Ft. Lewis where I was assigned to 734th OD CO in White Sands MR, NM.
The biggest pain in the ass was the BI and all that jaz for the security
clearance.
Checked out the site, looks nice

Yeah I know what you mean. I still keep my hand in the game in a National
Guard Long Range Surveillance Unit in Maryland. So I am still on jump
status and get to do some pretty specialized missions and training.
What units where you on status in?
I did about 8 months in a pouge infantry slot in the 82nd Airborne Division
G3, then another 2 years in a line slot in C co 2/505th PIR. I got out and
went to a mech (leg) infantry slot in the NC National Guard and now in lrs
in Maryland.
I made a site a while back that I never got around to finishing here:

Let me know what you think mang.

I started out back in the 80's as a 12B when I joined up. After I realized
that 12B's were not exactly brain surgeons I went Airborne and Air Assault
and wound up as a 55D. I think I wore more MOP gear than anyone should ever
have to, ever! Wound up 55D20 before I left. Was going to be a lifer but I
broke my leg bad in a night jump and decided that was it. My wife didn't
like what I was doing as well.
Seems like another life as I sit here in front of this PC typing this.

Do you mean the drug addict that evaded taxes for decades... Yeah , sure....
The only difference between him and a plug nickel is that the plug nickel
sounds better.

I have apparently lived in Texas long enough for the question to have real
importance :) Seriously, I found it reassuring somehow that Willie Nelson
performed the following at a concert for Dennis Kucinich:
Hell they wont lie to me
Not on my own damn TV
But how much is a liar's word worth
And whatever happened to peace on earth?
Reuters asked him afterwards if he thought the song would upset country
music fans. He replied "I hope so." <VBG> Always knew I liked that man for a
reason, and it wasn't beer for his horses :)
