Yes, I could go that route, though it is a bit more involved than I want to go at this point.  I might think about it down the line.  The pool room is a bit tight on space, and I don't have a tv in their for now.  I might get on and put it up and one of those ceiling mounts like in a hospital; if I do so I might look at that again.

I did this with my set up.

Build a really small computer (small form factor!) for like 100 or 200.  Wireless NIC, wirless mouse, killer soundcard (or decent one) to hook up to your audio system, wireless keyboard, video card with TV output (or get a 15 dollar card and use a monitor instead :0)  but seeing it's set next to the audio system and entertainment system, why not hook it up to the TV!

I set up a lil coldfusion app to generate a winamp list (.m3u) that would point to all the mp3's on the sevrer in my room.  Then I just access that list with the computer in the entertainment system.  I use keyboard shortcuts to access different lists. or i can switch to theTV output and do different things from there.

I'm trying to mess with Shoutcast server but the interface is awkward for me.  The set up i have now works fine though.
