What screensaver? The one that comes with WinXP? What happens when you
disable it? I remember some people were having problems with the WebShots
screensaver . . .
Have you run Spybot or Adaware recently to check for rogue apps? If you find
it's not really related to your screensaver you might want to reseat your
RAM modules to see if that helps . . . or maybe one of the RAM modules is
going bad . . . or have you updated the drivers for your video card
recently?
If I remember correctly WinXP comes set by default to reboot instead of
showing a BSOD, so probably each of those times your PC is rebooting you are
also getting a BSOD that you aren't seeing. You can turn this off so you see
the BSOD if you like (can't remember how you do this, but it's pretty easy)
but that probably won't help you find the source of your problem . . .
