legitimate deals out there, I have had some bad experiences, and so have
some frineds of mine.
I myself bought a copy of Director 7 for $500 and it turned out to be a
fake. Everything, down to the sleeve the CD came in, looked like it was
for real. I called in for technical support on an issue and they
explained that I had been hoodwinked and I could receive no support. I
got no money back and the police were no help (San Mateo County, CA) -
they didn't investigate crimes of this nature unless the amount of money
involved exceeded $20k.
A friend of mine who bought 5 copies of Flash and Fireworks /
Dreamweaver, new in the box with serial numbers and everything, got
stung with fakes to the tune of $1200. Here are the photos of the

Everything looked legitimate. Turned out all the software, the
packaging, the serial cards inside, were just high-quality rips. He had
to lay-off the people he bought the software for and tried to resell it
all on eBay, which is where MM caught the fraud. He lost most of his
money in the deal.

It's one thing to need some money and sell things, but if we all sit
back and allow you to do it, pretty soon we'll have Common Spot in here
