Dear Simon,

I installed Dreamweaver 2004 without uninstalling anything. When I opened
it, DW scanned my previous wwwroot in CFusionMX. However, DW threw the
following errors...

"_javascript_ errors
At Line 201 of file: 'C:/Program files/Macromedia/dreamwearver mx
2004/configuration/servermodels/coldfusion.htm'
Type Error = dom.documentElement has no properties"

and

"Translators were not loaded due to errors ASP.htm has configuration
information that is invalid"

Im working on an old win98se, which is acceptable; but perhaps Dreamweaver
MX does need to be uninstalled prior to Dreamweaver MX 2004 as well as
Coldfusion MX 6.1. What is do you think?

Thanks again Simon, your help is most appreciated.

Dreamweaver and F have nothing to do with each other, other than the RDS
hooks.  You can safely upgrade your installation of DW and leave
everything
  else alone.

Subject: Upgrade Question: MX to MX 2004

    Dear friends,

Currently running CF/DW MX 6. To upgrade to DW MX 2004 (v.7) do I have
to
  do
a complete uninstall of both CF & DW MX 6 as well as the CFusionMX
directory? Would the procedure be install DWMX 2004, reinstall CF, add
Homesite 5.5 + as the new CF editor and Contribute 2.1 for cms?

    Thanks
    Steve
