replacement surgery. She spent a lot of time with a 4-leg walker and a
seat for her shower. She graduated to a cane, and now doesn't use
anything to walk at all. She was also a smoker for about 60 years
before that, and she recovered 100%. Don't sweat it. You'll be fine.
