The one that freaks me out is the "swimmers itch" that my son came home from
camp with. It's these little flies that burrow under your skin and lay
eggs.... looks like a rash and is quite itchy. Of course he had poison ivy
too... what a mess! 8-)
Well regardless of their little brains, I still like armadillos. They are
just so old-looking and they are so unafraid. Kind of like a real-life
Jurassic Park specimen... I guess they're like the snapping turtles here,
who crawl out into the road and sit there and damn ... moving them is not my
idea of fun!

Scorpions are fun :) We used to have to check the bathtubs in Leakey and
Utopia. They can't get out but you didn't want to just stumble in there for
a shower in the morning without looking.
