IF the chip may be finishied in a year to a year and a half, then they

That's the analyst's predictions. No telling if he is correct.
A price cut by Sony and Microsoft before E3 in May seems to be a sure
thing, however.
There is also speculation that Microsoft may try to beat Sony to market
with the Xbox 2 out at the end of 2005. I don't think its impossible
since they don't seem to be developing all new hardware for the system
as Sony is for the PS3.
