> Geez, I sucessfully avoiding watching the Superbowl. Had it not been
endlessly replayed all day today I would not have had a clue about Janet
Jackson's body jewelry. This seemed to be the consensus in the gym today.
Fox News played the clip no less than four times while I was there, thus
maintaining their commitment to bringing the American public news that
really matters.

It strikes me that if people like you and I who avoided watching the
Superbowl have been saturated with the imagery anyway, then I have to say
that this was a brilliant move by Viacom.

As for News That Really (Doesn't) Matter, my award for that goes to the
story about Al Gore's son smoking a doobie. OMG! A has-been's son smoked
pot!
