Having da life is better than having da death -
been there, almost got the t-shirt...

Yeah, September was Oz.

We have had a timeshare at Lake Tahoe since the kids were little.
It's now part of a bigger company (Sunterra) so we have more
choices. Have been to O'ahu, Sedona, almost Whistler.

We bought a timeshare at Kaua'i Marriott in 1999, and go in
even-numbered years. Odd-numbered years, we take it in
"points", and save up for trips like Australia and Europe.

Last March, we were supposed to go to Whistler B.C.,
but the heart attack intervened.

Airline and timeshare gave us credit for the missed trip,
but we had to travel within one year, which is why the
Hawaii trip now. The Maui time is with the timeshare
company we would have used at Whistler, the Kaua'i week
is our unit at the Marriott.

We're going just the 2 of us to Maui, then daughter and
her friend are flying over from SFO to meet us at Kaua'i.
Going to be fun. Daughter has been there with us before,
but her friend Allan has never been to anywhere in Hawaii.

Yeah, tough, but somebody has to do it...
