Phone gateways or broadband phone devices to provide the service you're
looking for. The direct PC option only requires a headset/mic, their
proprietary software and a decent (broadband) internet connection.
I'm sure there are other options out there. Vonage (vonage.com) has the
same broadband phone interface option... Considering getting one of those if
I end up needing a dedicated business line, but that'll be a ways away.
