I was wondering if an option could be made to deliver the Digests in the
same format.
That is:
An option for receiving rich HTML digests, that includes the auto-trim
code.
There would also be a hyperlink from each message title found at the top
of the digest, to the appropriate start of the message (HTML Anchor) in
the body of the digest.
At the end of each complete message would be a "Return to Top" link.
This would make receiving the digest 500% better and much, much easier
to read and review the posts.
I've realised that as it is, it's more worth my while to read the web
archives than slog through long text with infinite >> quotes to find the
relevant sections of the message i'm interested in.
I think if you trim the >> quotes out of those digest messages you might
cut the size of the email sent by more than half!
