Okay, so server migration has been hell. But, looking on the bright
side,
since a couple of apps were using verity and they broke, I talked to the
Oracle DBA's and now they're going to install the Intermedia full-text
search components and give me access to play with them. Weeeee!
I'm pretty darn sure there's about a million things we could be doing in
the
database that we're not doing cause I don't know to ask for permission
to do
them and no one else feels like trying to learn them.
So, if there are any Oracle gurus out there, and you can name a few
things I
should play with (we're at 8.1.7 right now, btw), yell!
