We tried a few a while back, and bought a pair of one of them

I think the term "good wireless controllers" for the xbox is a bit of a
joke - basically, there aren't any!

The reaction times are too slow compared to wired controllers, and they
don't "work" 100% all of the time

Stick to the wired ones, and if need be, get extension cables - we have
some which add 6 foot to the length and work great

The "best" wireless controller for the xbox I've seen anything about is
the Logitech 2.4Ghz one, but it doesn't feel quite right in the hands

The MadCatz ones have the lumpy grip, which feels odd in the hands,
takes some getting use to and if you get "excited", you get ridges in
your hands :-P

IMHO, the only worthwhile wireless controller for ANY system is the
WaveBird - if somebody could get a controller as good as that for the
other systems, then it'd be worth buying, but until then, just don't
