Jesus for a number of reasons, so couldn't have been the Jews' fault.
Friend said "but what about an *illegal* verdict?"
Gee, we're sure seeing a lot of stuff like that in current administration!
So maybe some with vested interests wanted this rabble rouser eliminated?
