He started the personal attacks calling people fools and so on. I tried to
stay on topic as much as possible, and I feel I was unusually restrained,
and that only because I have been at work this entire (yes entire) time.

Not cool. Sure there were triametrically* opposed views on the subject, but
man.
Mike D., I want to thank you for your restraint. You permit people to freely
speak their minds even when it is in opposition to your own beliefs. That
may seem obvious, but most list admins have a tendency to kick people they
disagree with.
I know that I've participated in my share of heated discussions, but this
one was just ugly with how fast it descended into personal attacks.
Hopefully Greg will not find this to be an overly intolerant and rude place
and stick it out to enjoy the fun.
