IANAL could mean "I anal."
IANAL could mean "I am not a lawyer"
I could be anal AND not a lawyer. I've heard this more than once..
It would be more difficult to be a lawyer and not anal, but that would be:
IAAL (I am a lawyer)
IANANAL (I am not anal)

I have a big conflict here, folks.
IANAL *cannot* mean "I Am Not A Lawyer",
since IMNSHO all lawyers are anal until proven innocent.
