Actually on a side note, When I was taking philosophy in university,
Socrates was always discussed through Plato's writing. Plato had a really
bad case of hero worship when it came to Socrates. Xenophon, a contemporary
of Socrates and Plato who wrote the 10,000, also wrote some stuff on
Socrates. He to say the least really disliked the man. Had a very different
take on Socrates philosophy.
