OT - XML parsing question

I'm trying to access a XML file via cfhttp that I need to read and parse to
insert into a DB.  I only have CF 5 at my disposal.  I've searched on how to
do this, but my search results are a little confusing.  I'm pretty sure I'm
missing something simple.  How can I parse this thing?  Any links or
suggestions would be appreciated.
