Vasectomy failure is pretty rare, and much easier to test (you're supposed
to go in for a test two weeks after the procedure  - it's the last major
  uncomfortable moment then you're FREE!)

The procedure is much less invasive and dangerous that tubal ligation -
hour on the table, two days with an ice-pack (and a very attentive wife if
you're in that position) and you're done.

Wow. Congratulations. At least it sounds like it was a happy surprise.
Hm...I wonder what the failure rate of a vasectomy is.....

  > Ok, so most of you saw the post where I got a new job offerred on 3
March.
The new job has a ton more responsibility and a hefty compensation
increase,
  for which I am happy.

  > Well, it's because my wife had one 3.5 years ago when our son was born.
He
was going to be our third (and last) child. But I guess Mother Nature
didn't
think so, because on the night of 3 March she woke me up to show me a
pregnancy test. A POSITIVE pregnancy test.

  > Now, after a stressful week (in which we had to get many tests and an
ultrasound to ensure that the pregnancy was not ectopic (tubal)) we know
that we have a normal, healthy pregnancy! (well, normal in all aspects
except that it's NOT SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN AT ALL!!!:))
