Tim,

A couple of caveats with Dells...

I have one, love it, very stable... Dimension 4000 system about 2.5 years old. HOWEVER... MB supports SDRAM (PIII 933, 512MB RAM) but ONLY 512 MB. Bummer for me when I bought the second 512 stick and it did not work (wife loves it though).

Make sure that you can expand the MB in the ways that you want if you go with Dell. Also, their really cheap systems (Dimension 2400 and such) use integrated video with shared video RAM. Not real sure on this, but methinks that means that a pool of system RAM is set aside and used for the video subsytem. Now, if you can disable this and add an AGP card, no worries, but be careful. Finally, if you do want to go the Dimension route, click the Small Business link instead of Home. System is (I think) $100 more, comes with XP Pro instead of home and a 17" flat screen (instead of 15). I think you can still only order 1...
