Hold on another 6 months and wait for 802.11n. 111 mbps. The first
models should be hitting America by September and will drive down the
cost of g devices.

For that matter, 802.11b devices probably will be handed out as free
gifts for joining a bank at that point.

I am going to upgrade my 802.11b network to a  g one.  should I spend

extra cash and get the super accelerated g?
I was told by a store employee that i shouldn't, but that might have
been
because they were out of super g.  I do web stuff, peer to peer and vpn
into
work from that connection.
