Interesting... pay attention much to middle eastern politics do you?

Just watched Life of Brian again the other night, the wife was
thoughtful enough to pick it up on DVD for me for my birthday and even
more thoughtful by not making me wait until next month to enjoy the
movie :-)

I think that "Brian" is one of the most insightful looks at middle
eastern politics ever made, delightful political and religious satire.
It captures everything from the disparate groups that attack one another
rather than unite against the common enemy ("Brothers we should be
fighting together!"--"We are!"), to the seemingly endless amount of
factioning of religions ("Follow the gourd!" "The shoe is the true
way!"), explores the idea that we should look to ourselves rather than a
Messiah to save us ("Yes, we're all individuals!") and the
misinterpretation of messianic message ("Blessed are the cheesemakers?"
"Bleesed are the Greek?").

fire away...

will
"People called Romans they go the house? What's this then?"

PS: Où est le nazi?
(to paraphrase Eddie Izzard)
