I just wanted to say thanks for all the help with this. I finally got it
working using a combo of arrays and also having to pass variables in the
url. Wish I didn't have to pass the variables in the url but it looks like
there is no way around it because as this site is somewhat a template system
and pulls data dynamically including the menu items.
Again thanks for all the help...
You welcome to check out the site and let me know what you think...

Subject: Re: Any CSS guru here?
regarding the cfdump question...yes, you should be getting more...i screwed
up the original code (remember...was low on caffeine at that point).
where you have:
application.navArray[1].subNav[2].title = "UGA History";
application.navArray[1].subNav[2].template = "history.cfm";
application.navArray[1].subNav[3].title = "UGA Today";
application.navArray[1].subNav[3].template = "ugatoday.cfm";
..etc, each of the array positions in the subNav[n] array need structNew();
so change to:
application.navArray[1].subNav[2] = structNew(); // <--- newly added
line
application.navArray[1].subNav[2].title = "UGA History";
application.navArray[1].subNav[2].template = "history.cfm";
application.navArray[1].subNav[3] = structNew(); // <--- newly added
line
application.navArray[1].subNav[3].title = "UGA Today";
application.navArray[1].subNav[3].template = "ugatoday.cfm";
and do that for each of the subNav elements.
As far as the error in the nav, that's because you're still referencing a 2d
array. the navArray is no longer 2d...it's a 1d array of structs.
so references to:
request.app.navArray[i][1] would be changed to:
request.app.navArray[i].title
request.app.navArray[i][2] would be changed to:
request.app.navArray[i].template
If you'd like, we can take this to private e-mail. I don't mind posting it
to the list, but not sure if we're pissing anybody off or not : )
you can e-mail me directly at [EMAIL PROTECTED] if need be.
