breaks. Actually it just loaded.
It reminds me what I did to the guy I shared an office with in grad school.
His brother was an aide to then VP Quayle, and Mike was at least, if not
more conservative than that. He was frequently ranting about the evil
liberals etc. (Sort of shows where I got the practice taking on conservative
types). Anyhow that Christmas we visited my parents back in Vancouver BC.
During that visit, I stopped in the local Liberal Party offices and
explained my dilemma. They were very glad to supply me with all sorts of
campaign materials, signs and posters, all with Liberal in huge letters all
over them.
When I got back to Virginia and my office on campus, I found out that Mike
had not returned from his Christmas vacation. So I went to work. Every inch
of his desk, the walls and the inside door were plastered in Liberal
material. You might say I was quite liberal with the campaign materials - I
even went so far as to make book covers for all of his books in the office.
When Mike got back and stepped into the office, he was almost apoplectic. It
was worth the effort.
