Sounds about what I was asked to do, if I remember correctly.  I was asked to provide a 8 1/2 by 11 original at 1200 dpi, so that it could be scaled up to 36 by 60.  It was a combination of logos, photographs and text describing our current rocket engines (this was when I worked for Aerojet).  If my calculations are right that wouldn't that be about 125 MB?  Which sounds about right from memory.
