It's the Christian ones that scare me. They are fairly well off, even rich,
and technologically very sophisticated. Not the sort you want to have an
apocalyptic philosophy.

Although the irony of it all is rather nice. They are using the results of
their modern anathema (the theory of evolution) to bring about the rapture
etc. Lets hope that someone keeps these people away from weapons of mass
destruction.

BTW as a follow-up to the Dreher article. Apparently that red heifer he
mentioned in the article was disqualified by Orthodox rabbis in November of
2002.
