True.  But at the same time this is a red-herring for most companies since
very few want to sell/distribute their products.

However, you could also mention that Blue-dragon does allow you package your
CF applications as pure Java code (no CFML needed - or, indeed, no CF server
needed) which eliminates this point.

Also, whether using Blue Dragon or not CF Application can be distributed to
many more platforms (pretty much any J2EE compatible platform) while .NET is
Windows only.

Deploying a ColdFusion application means giving away the source code. There
are ways to encrypt, it but not  efficiently

VisualStudio.NET
The code is built into a DLL. For deployment, all that is needed is to
deploying the DLL along with a few other supporting DLLs.
