Hmm, not only that, there are free libraries that allow you to do so without
writing your own _javascript_ (qForms). Notwithstanding that you *could* use
cfform for the same purpose.

Uhh, correct me if I'm wrong but isn't that _javascript_ (or VB Script) on the
client side that is doing validation?  Hi, ever heard of the CFForm and it's
associated tags?  That does pre-submit validation as well.

Better yet, a good programmer can include hand-written JS client side
validation in ANY form, regardless of the platform.

As for Macromedia's focus on CF vs Flash or whatever, that's not a true
argument IMO.  Companies will shift their public focus from product to
product as the market flows throughout the year, however there are always
teams working on various products in the background.
