I'm looking for a product that converts SQL statements to other database platforms, i.e. Oracle to MSSQL, vice versa, etc - maybe with MySQL support as well. I used a product that did this on a recent project, it was called Convertor, it was written in java and allowed us to run relatively complex TSQL statements against an Oracle database and returned results as a ColdFusion query.
Of course, I cannot find any mention of this product in the usual sources, and the person I did this project for ended his candidacy. I get the feeling Convertor was an Open Source project, and probably highly customized for CF.
Anyone have any information about Convertor, a similar product, or anything else that might be useful? I am working on a mobile project that snycs from Oracle to a SQLAnywhere database and want to avoid rewriting all the queries and having to add additional logic.
