FYI: If you get an email from a github discussion, then you can respond by
replying to that email, and the message will be inserted into the github
discussion (so it isn't necessary to go to github to respond (although
some of the interactive features won't work). I just tested this, and it
worked smoothly.
Note: I don't know whether it will still work if I didn't have a github
account, but it might.
