No mail system rewrites the from address. Your subscription is to show where mail should be delivered and what addresses can post. You had 2 accounts. You posted from one of them and assumed that the system would instead use the email address of the other. That's not the systems fault.
If you post with an address, that is the address that will be shown as the poster. Same with every mail system out there. > That's STUPID. > > HOF allows users to change their email address.
