IT Web Services is AED's internal Web development team specializing in delivering Web-based technology solutions for AEDâs internal departments and external clients. Position overview: The Web Application Developer/Data Integration Specialist codes programs using ColdFusion, JavaScript, and SQL 2000 databases on Windows and Unix platforms, following application design documents and guidelines architected by other team members; and integrates data received in Access/Excel into SQL Databases. Tasks include analysis, programming, problem resolution, data integration, testing, documentation, and implementation. The selected individual must be capable of developing web applications using ColdFusion MX with a MS-SQL backend. The individual must be capable of performing in a dynamic environment, handling multiple tasks simultaneously, and be a self-starter capable of working in a team environment with minimal supervision. The individual must have good verbal and written skills and be capable of interacting and communicating with clients; and possess the ability to proactively identify and resolve problems and respond immediately to production system failures. This position relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, and performs a variety of complicated tasks.
