Yeah -- i know -- this thread has gotten off-topic. But if my memory serves
me right, Jeremy Allaire is also a "non-professional" -- I believe his
degree is in political science.
It's a fact of history -- the first people to build a sucessful airplane
were bicycle makers, the scientists who discovered the structure of DNA were
not chemists, and Socrates was a sculptor by trade.
