We develop browser-based and database-driven software (mainly in Cold Fusion) as part of our business of developing high-quality web sites and standalone products for a variety of organizations. QUALIFICATIONS: You must be highly proficient in web-based application development (at least 2 years experience on the web, and more as a programmer in other environments) using SQL and ColdFusion. You should know how to plan, spec, and build a large-scale database-driven web application. You should understand ASP, Java, and/or Perl and must have strong HTML, DHTML, and JavaScript skills. Knowledge of VB, C++ and XML are pluses. A degree in computer science or equivalent experience is a requirement, as is the ability to write elegant procedural and object-oriented code. You must be intimately familiar with SQL and be comfortable using database platforms from MS Access through Oracle. As important as technical chops is your coding philosophy: We're looking for solid, responsible, experienced and meticulous programmers who care about web site quality and are motivated to see projects through from concept to completion. Strong English communication and writing skills are required.
