Hello,
I am seeking some assistance with SQL. What I would like to do is send you
a sample database and a list of the data sets which need to be extracted,
with general instructions on how the data are to be managed (a series of
subtractions from a main table in the original dataset until there is
nothing left). You would create the queries and email me back the Access
database with the queries in them. Any notes describing what should be
changed for the queries to work in Microsoft Transact-SQL for SQL Server 7
should be appended in a separate document.
I'm guessing that this would be about two or three hours of work for a SQL
whiz (novices need not apply, if the task was a breeze I would do it
myself). You can look at the database and task list before you decide you
want to do it. It's a little bit of an intellectual challenge for the
right person. If you are interested, please reply with 'SQL Assistance' in
the subject line. I don't have the sample database prepared just yet so it
might be a day or two before I can get it to you.
