Description
Assists in daily web site management and maintenance. Monitors content
of the Foundation's web pages. Updates existing web pages with new
information. Fine-tunes current web pages based on feedback from users and
weekly/monthly reports. Designs, develops, researches, writes, proofs and
edits new sections/features for the web pages. Monitors Forums and webmaster
mail. Builds webpages and/or applications using Cold Fusion, SQL, Flash,
Dreamweaver or other various software programs. Uses graphical software
programs to manipulate photos and graphics to ensure they optimized for web
browsers. Coordinates with Internet Service Provider to ensure continuity
and reliability of dial-up access, email, and web site hosting services.
Serves as a technical advisor to the Foundation for the purchase, upgrade,
and configuration of computer hardware and software, intranet, router, and
telephone services. Ensure that all Dannemiller web sites are live and
functioning and are appropriately displayed on all major web browsers such
as Internet Explorer, Netscape and AOL. Works under the direct supervision
of the lead programmers in the Information Technology Department.
