10 years ago the web was in its infancy.  August 1991 (10.5 years ago) Tim 
Berners-Lee announces the WWW project, at the time it was solely in use at

Almost 9 years ago Marc Andreesen announces NCSA Mosaic, which became the 
core of 
Netscape.

This was the the point in which some people began using the web in earnest 
because it was easily available.  18 months later he announces 
Netscape.

By my count, you could not possibly have more than 6 years experience with 
CF... maybe a little more if it was in beta, however, that was not a 4 year 
process.
